Nailer works fine but is very slow. Don’t waste your money. Very disappointing Makita

Nailer works as it should but is way to slow. Wasted 569 dollars , not a good way to keep your customers Makita.

It may not be the most powerful, but if used correctly on soft wood architraves/skirting ect and the gun is fired on. 90deg angle to the subject your working on this is a good nail gun… limitations are it takes a few seconds between shots to re power and will not penetrate hard woods… if you all ready have Makita batteries this is a good well priced item….

Using it as a cabinetmaker it performs very well, minimal misfires and very few jams. only issue is the depth but that can be fixed by taking the rubber safety hold off. honestly a month into using it i love it. keep it up makita

Good price and not need to worry about cell supply and gun service. Did the job well that I expect. It is c brad nail gun power degisn for nail most of interior renovation material. Bit heavy but weight contribute is well.

Construction chippy bought to replace my paslode fixer was a bit sketchy at first but thought I’ll give it a go as I have makita batteries
Used it all day to install skirting
Didn’t skew any nails and the bump mode works fine not sure why others say it’s too slow
Just have to get use to the trigger mechanism as you need to hold trigger until nail is fired as the motor needs to gear up
Uses same straight nails as paslode

Love this gun. Heavy, but built like a tank. I’ve dropped it from higher than I’d care to admit a few times, but it just gets up and keeps going. Has only jammed once in 6 months using it – cleared in 30secs, no biggie. Has no trouble sinking 50-60mm nails into hardwood, so long as they’re fired relatively straight on (and you remove the rubber surface protector!!). I can see why others might think it’s a little slow, I noticed when I first used it, but I don’t notice it anymore. Only one real downside for me – doesn’t have quite enough power to sink nails from more than about 20deg either side of 90, but that’s rarely an issue.

Love this thing… I’m not a tradie, so I don’t care if it’s a little slower – I’m pretty slow myself these days. The usual problem of not fitting my very small lady’s hands very well, so a little awkward at times, but I can deal with it. Great for light fixings and holds stuff for glue ups, a bit of house maintenance and what not, I knocked up a couple of native bee houses and garden bits and pieces with this – a big time saver in many ways for things not required to be structural. Thanks to the team at Total Tools Seaford SA and especially David, he set us up with a jigsaw as well.
