Only occasionally needing a framing gun and this one hit the break even point compared to renting. (didn’t want to pay for a Paslode or Hikoki)
The Dewalt gun is OK, but lacks features I’d be looking for if I needed to use it regularly, like no dry fire lock out and changing from single fire to bump fire requires changing the trigger. I’ve also use used the Dewalt finish gun and brad gun and both of those are better overall than the framing gun.
When trying to change the trigger on my gun to single fire, the trigger screw stripped out and took a bit of work to get it out.
It did the job, but not as nice as other guns.
